Helloo!! Brand New Car continua !! Che cosa vi propongo oggi? Un Dj piú precisamente un dj very cool Matthew The Beat classe 1991. La musica che mixa è un portento, veste con stile e ascolta i Daft Punk , il suo motto : " Qualcosa di Diverso per le vostre orecchie, possibilmente che vi procuri un orgasmo !! " ha iniziato la sua carriera nella sua città natale (Cremona) suonando nelle varie discoteche del posto e nelle zone limitrofe .. Ora si trova a Milano nella scena underground , in posti classici (come L'Atomic).

dj Matthew The Beat :

Io: Ciao Matthew ! Da quanto fai il dj? E cosa ti ha portato a farlo?

Matthew : Ciao luc,il dj? francamente penso 4 o 5 anni fà... non te lo so dire con esattezza, il fatto è che io ho sempre amato fin da bambino produrre la mia musica.fare il dj è stato il passo successivo

I: La musica cosa rappresenta per te ? E cosa ti da?

M: La musica per me è realmente tutto, non c'è parte della giornata in cui non canticchi o non pensi a qualche sottofondo.. LA VITA SENZA MUSICA SAREBBE UN ERRORE diceva nietzsche! penso che sia perfetta per rendere il concetto( come affermazione! ) nel mio tipo di musica, cerco particolarmente l'adrenalina e la mancanza di nostalgia e sentimenti,se devo essere sincero

I: Ormai sei un dj a tutti gli effetti , ma prima di arrivare a dove sei ora , avrai incontrato degli ostacoli no? Quali?

M: Gli ostacoli? gli ostacoli non finiscono mai .. soprattutto ora! più si avanza, più ce ne sono e sempre più insormontabili... quello principale rimane il classico "ma dove posso suonare?", finchè non hai una fama esagerata è dura cercarsi gli agganci giusti, è sempre stato così! non dimentichiamo poi i vari haters che ascoltano altri generi, di gente che rema contro ne troverai ovunque nella vita!

I: Perchè la scelta del nome Matthew the beat?

M: beh questa è molto semplice: americanizza il mio nome, togli la I finale al mio cognome e in mezzo ficcaci l'articolo THE ... il gioco è fatto!

I: I pezzi che ami remixare?

M: non ho preferenze in ambito di remix, quelli che mi riescono meglio e nei quali vedo una possibile versione che posso realizzare, sono quelli che prediligo, ovviamente ahaha...si va da delle scemenze tipo The Chain by Fleetwood Mac, fino ai Crookers o i Dada Life

I: Il tuo stile di musica? Ne hai creato uno tutto tuo o cè un genere a cui fai riferimento?

M: il mio stile è un insieme di tutto ciò che si conosce col nome di elettronica! quella che più mi carica è quella che molti direbbero hard electro, non dimentico però che sono cresciuto con l'elettronica francese, quella di razza , per capirci i Daft Punk.. infine, se vogliamo parlare di quella che veramente amo alla follia e che facevo sin da piccolo è l'Acid-elettronica (con tendenza alla techno).. per capirci Boys Noize e soci!

I: Che cosa va in disco now?

M: in discoteca in generale va della gran musica da far pena, detto fuori dai denti... il problema è l'ignoranza e il pregiudizio che hanno a livello musicale gli italiani.. grazie al cielo esistono roccaforti della musica 'alternativa' quali Milano,Venezia,Bergamo,che portano al pubblico qualcosa di diverso dal solito sound commerciale che si sente altrove

I: Cè un sito dove possiamo ascoltare la tua musica?

I: Alcuni dj usano ancora in console dischi in vinile, cosa ne pensi? Anche te ogni tanto gli usi?

M: il vinile è il mio sogno, io purtroppo non ho il piacere di usarli, ma rimango comunque della vecchia scuola coi cd... non apprezzo i nuovi ragazzetti (e non solo) che usano i controller per mixare.. quello non è fare il dj, perchè essere un dj non significa avere un pc.. lasciando da parte la polemica, dicevo che i vinili son il meglio, sia per la qualità del suono, sia al tatto, mentre li metti a tempo.. L'unico problema è che si rovinano a lungo andare e occupano molto posto

I: Parliamo di look, quando vai in console che look adotti?

M: chi mi segue lo sa: ho una fissazione (penso che dovrò farmi curare) per i cappelli da baseball... è un must per me, ne ho credo un 25/30... tutti diversi sia per colori che per scritte. è una sorta di status simbol per me, oltre che un segno per riconoscermi. insomma ne vado matto... oltre a questi, beh di solito magliette personalizzate, col mio nome o logo sopra, giubbino di pelle, camicia a quadri oppure felpa (da baseball, ovviamente!)

I: Qualche musica da consigliare?

M: da consigliare...mmm dovremmo fare un altro post solo per questo ahaha... io consiglio sempre il mio idolo, Boys Noize.. oltre ai mostri sacri Daft Punk e Justice... poi come si dice,ognuno ha i suoi gusti!!

Helloo! Brand New Car continues! What I propose today? a Dj  more precisely, a very cool DJ Matthew The Beat  born 1991. The music mix is a wonder, as in styleand listen to Daft Punk, his maxim : "Something Different for your ears, possibly that it will give you an orgasm!" Began his career in his hometown (Cremona ), playingin various clubs of the place and surrounding areas .. Now located in Milan in the underground scene, classical in places (like The Atomic).

My interview with dj Matthew TheBeat: 

Me: Hello Matthew! From what do the dj? And what led you to do?


Matthew: Hello luc, the dj? Frankly I think 4 or 5 years ago ... I know you do not say exactly, the fact is that I've always loved since childhood produce my musica.fare the DJ was the next step

I: The music thing is for you? And what gives you?

M: Obstacles? obstacles never end .. especially now! more one advances, the more there are more and more insurmountable ... the main one is the classic "Where can I play?", until you have an exaggerated reputation is hard to look for the right connections, it's always been so! I: Why the choice of  Matthew the beat?

M: My style is a collection of everything that is known by name electronics! Finally, if we talk about what I really love the madness, and I did an early age is the Acid-mail (with a tendency to techno) .. Boys Noize and partners to understand each other!

I: What goes in hard now?

I: Some DJs still use vinyl records to the console, what do you think? Even you occasionally uses?

M: vinyl is my dream, I unfortunately do not have the pleasure of using them, but I'm still old school with the cd ... I do not appreciate the new boys (and beyond) who use the controller to mix .. that's not djing, because being a DJ is not about having a pc .. leaving aside the controversy, saying that the vinyls are the best, both for sound quality, both to the touch, and put them in time .. The only problem is that in the long run ruin themselves and take up much room

I: Let's talk about looks, when you go in console and look to adopt?

M: who follows me knows I have a setting (I think I'll have to get treatment) for baseball hats ... is a must for me, I think a 25/30 ... for all different colors for lettering. is a sort of status symbol for me, as well as a sign to recognize me. In short I'm going crazy ... Besides these, well usually custom shirts with my name or logo on top, leather jacket, plaid shirt or sweatshirt (baseball, of course!)

I: Some music to recommend?

M: mmm ... to recommend we should do another post just for that ... ahaha I always advise my idol, Boys Noize .. addition to the superstars Daft Punk and Justice ... Then as they say, everyone has their own tastes!
